Nestled on HWY 28 (Country Road 28) in the picturesque Northumberland County, Cedar Hedge Farm stands as a testament to sustainable farming and a deep-rooted passion for the land. Member of the local farming community since 2019, Chris Marcucci has transformed this small, off-the-grid farm into a haven of natural produce, where working with nature isn’t just a practice—it’s a principle.
At Cedar Hedge Farm, we believe in being stewards of the land. This means nurturing the soil and the environment to produce food that is not only healthy for our customers but also for the land it grows on. By employing natural fertilizers, botanicals, and companion planting, and by creating a welcoming habitat for predatory birds and insects, we eliminate the need for commercial, man-made chemicals.
Chris’s journey from growing up on a vibrant 100-acre vegetable farm—affectionately known as “The Farm”—to a successful 20-plus year career in marketing and advertising, and back to farming, is a story of rediscovery and returning to one’s roots. His early years instilled in him the values of hard work and determination, while his professional life taught him what he truly wanted from life. Today, Chris’s true passion lies in tending to Cedar Hedge Farm, a place where he combines his rich heritage with sustainable practices to grow a wide array of produce.
Join us at Cedar Hedge Farm, where every harvest is a celebration of sustainable living and the rich agricultural heritage of Northumberland County.
