Welcome to Board’s Honey Farm, nestled on a picturesque hillside overlooking Commanda Lake, just before the village of Restoule. Since 1974, our family has dedicated itself to the art of beekeeping, producing a diverse inventory of honey and bee-related products that embody the purity and essence of Northern Ontario’s Almaguin/Nipissing Region.

Our Philosophy and Practices

• Sustainable Beekeeping: With 300 colonies thriving in the scenic, pristine countryside, our bees pollinate areas free from industrial farming and pesticides, ensuring the highest quality of honey.
• Dedication to Education and Experience: We offer organized educational programs, tours, and a shop for visitors to explore. Our aim is to make every visit memorable, sharing the wonders of beekeeping and the natural gifts of honeybees.
• A Garden for the Bees: Our gardens are planted with flowers and foliage beloved by bees, supporting their health and productivity. A bee yard is even situated right outside our kitchen door, symbolizing our close relationship with these industrious creatures.

Products and Apitherapy

Board’s Honey Farm produces a wide range of products, from honey in various forms (raw, creamed, infused) to beeswax, pollen, propolis, and royal jelly. We embrace the ancient knowledge of apitherapy, using hive products to promote healing and wellness. Master Beekeeper Stefan Board, with his Level One Apitherapy Certificate, is passionate about sharing the benefits of honeybee products, from nutritional advantages to natural healing properties.
